This innovative frame bag design combines the versatility and organization benefits of a two-story frame bag with the increased carrying capacity of a roll top.
While roll top frame bags may not be as common as their zippered counterparts, the advantages are considerable. The roll top compartment holds a substantially larger amount compared to a zippered compartment of the same size, allowing you to over pack that space without the risk of stressing and breaking a zipper. This makes them ideal for remote trips or extended bikepacking trips with infrequent re-supplies.
The upper compartment is perfect for bulkier items like clothes, sleeping bags, and cook kits, while the lower compartment can hold heavier items like water bladders and tools. The frame bag can also easily convert to a single large compartment to accommodate bigger items.
